Charm bracelets have been around since cavemen walked the earth.  They made them out of bones, tusks and seashells to ward off evil spirits Since then they have come and gone in terms of popularity many times.  The egyptians wore them, as did the Roman Christians with a fish charm to recognize other believers.  Queen Victoria is the one that made them a fashion statement. Wearing bracelets with lockets containing hair or portraits of people.  The craze has never really stopped during WWI and WWII trinkets from europe by soldiers were sent home. In the 50's through the 70's charm bracelets were big as wedding gifts and graduation presents, The 2,000's saw the customizable  era with brands like Pandora. Why have they been around so long. The reason is, because they are cool.  I keep an eye out for them because they often have cameos incorporated in them. This bracelet is no exception. It is modern but not new. It is is very good shape. It is quite large if you fully extend it, but you can hook the lobster clasp anywhere on the chain so I expect it will fit just about anyone. The stones are acrylic. These are resin cameos. All the settings and charms are metal. A fun eye catching piece.
