Miniature Cameo Pin Doll Jewelry Hat Pin F230

I am not sure what this was made for. It is tiny. All I could come up with was maybe for Doll jewelry or perhaps to go on a hat or something like that. Anyway, it was in a box of other items and it is just a costume piece. The cameo itself is plastic.  Looks like it is actually set in a bezel as opposed to being glued in. The pin on the back is a simple clasp but this item is probably form the 1960's or there about. We do have people that buy for doll jewelry so I thought I would put it up. Size is .87x.72 inches. About the size of a nickel.
