Petite Silver Vintage Italian Cameo Pendant Hand carved carnelian Conch Shell F278

This is a small light weight pendant. Measures about 3/4 tall and slightly larger then half an inch across. It is understated, not a big clunky piece.  The design is quite nice, the shell is in excellent shape. There is a mark on the base of this that is illegible. Based on my past experience I think it says 800  this is a mark typically used on old Italian silver. So instead of sterling 925 it is 800 or a bit less in silver content. It is a bit tarnished, I do not polish antiques, but you can if you want it bright.
