40x30mm Fancy Vintage German Brown Glass Woman Cameo Cabochon J165

This is a very unusual piece. I have never come across one in 35 years. It is glass obviously imitating tortoise shell, Very fancy looking. The back is not completely flat. It is slightly domed. You would have to be thoughtful on a setting for it. Obviously wire wrapping, but also probably work in open back settings or maybe a cinch setting as the edge has a bit of a bevel.   A vintage piece no longer being produced. Made in Germany,
