37x28mm Italian Real Shell Cameo unmounted loose Genuine Hand Carved Cameo C301

Italian Shell cameo. I think this a pretty old cameo, The face is well done, Not a modern profile though, has a Roman or Greek look to it. Guessing turn of the century on a time frame. She appears to be wearing some type of head piece. I am thinking this is supposed to be Venus or one of the other goddesses commonly depicted in cameo carvings. Condition of the shell seems to be good. I do not see any splits or chips. Seems solid.
